Accounts Assistant | Salisbury | £35,000

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Reconciling bank accounts daily and managing all associated transactions
  • Posting purchase ledger invoices and processing supplier payments
  • Handling expense and mileage claims with accuracy and correct documentation
  • Producing weekly cash forecasts and monthly variance reports
  • Managing credit card statements and reconciling receipts
  • Chasing outstanding customer payments and resolving related queries
As an Accounts Assistant, your experience will include:
  • Previous experience within finance administration or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Understanding of daily financial processes including bank reconciliations
    , purchase ledger
    , and month end activities
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and finance systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Confident communication skills when liaising with internal teams and suppliers
