Description

Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
Prepare and review personal tax returns and associated documentation.
Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to optimise client outcomes.
Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless client service.
Support junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Monitor and manage project budgets and deadlines effectively.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:

Recognised professional qualifications in accounting or tax (e.g., ACA & CTA or ATT & CTA).
Proven expertise in private client tax matters, including compliance and advisory work.
A thorough understanding of UK tax legislation and its practical application.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
