Description
Manage and oversee a portfolio of private client tax cases, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Provide expert tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities tailored to client needs.
Review and approve tax returns prepared by junior team members.
Support the team in responding to HMRC enquiries and investigations.
Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices within the tax department.
Provide mentorship and training to junior staff to enhance team capabilities.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Senior Manager should have:
Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, particularly in private client tax.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored tax solutions.
Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
