Are you client focused and committed to supporting people living their best lives?
We are looking for experienced support workers to establish a team to assist our client, a young man who sustained a high-level spinal cord injury over 12 years ago. Our client will be moving to SDA housing in Salisbury early December. The hours are across an active 24/7 roster.
Above Award wages applyAs this is a high complex care model, we are seeking professional workers that have worked with and are confident with clients who live with Spinal Cord injury. You will be responsible for providing dedicated, individualised and flexible support services to assist our client to live independently, safely, and comfortably within the community.
Your role will includeSupporting with personal care - hygiene, transfers, continence, grooming, etc.
- Supporting to access the community - transport to and from appointments or shopping.

- A genuine desire to have influence in the lives of people with a disability.
- Proven experience in collaborating with people living with a disability that have high complex care needs, preference to individuals with Spinal Cord injury experience.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar or Diploma of Nursing/Bachelor of Nursing.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Valid unrestricted Driver's Licence and willing to transport clients.
