A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Hospice inpatient unit as a Healthcare support worker. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team based within Salisbury's Specialist Palliative Care Services, the Hospice inpatient unit provides high quality palliative and end of life care to those who need it.

• Support patients with personal care needs.
• Promote dignity and respect throughout admission.
• Work flexibly within the multidisciplinary team to provide person‑centred care for patients with life‑limiting illness.
• Support patients' loved ones and family members as they navigate caring for a person with a life‑limiting illness.

• Recent healthcare experience.
• Desire and passion to work within Specialist Palliative Care Services.
• Completion of application form relevant to post within Hospice IPU.
• Educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in key skills level 2 or functional skills level 2 numeracy and literacy.
• Completion of Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
• Completion of NVQ2/3.
• Completion of Palliative / End of life care studies.
• Completion of Communication skills course or willingness to complete.
• Good quality/accurate record keeping.

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust offers flexible working. Minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), generous pension scheme, on‑site benefits including car parking (fee applies), leisure centre, day nursery and holiday play scheme. Salary £25,760 to £27,476 per annum pro rata.
