Locum Band 7 Paediatric Audiologist needed in Salisbury - NHS

Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Paediatric Audiologist to join an NHS Audiology Service in Salisbury on a locum basis.

Start Date: 8th September 2026
End Date: 1st November 2026
Location: Salisbury
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time)
Part-Time Applications: Also considered

Flexible Working Patterns Available
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm, five days per week
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm, five days per week
  • Four long days per week
The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to join a busy NHS Audiology Department, delivering high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitation services for children and young people.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist audiological assessments, contribute to patient management plans, and support the delivery of a safe, effective, and patient-centred service.

The scope of practice will be determined by your experience, clinical skills, and competencies. For full-time candidates, there is an expectation of 8 clinical sessions and 2 administrative sessions per week
.

The department is also open to discussing flexible working arrangements and revised job plans for part‑time applicants where possible.

Requirements
  • Relevant Audiology qualification and professional registration where applicable
  • Previous experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
  • Significant experience within Paediatric Audiology
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills
  • Experience managing paediatric audiology caseloads independently
  • Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and documentation skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
