Job IntroductionWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology Operations team at Landmarc Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting, maintaining and developing the technology infrastructure that enables our business to operate effectively across the UK. The role has a strong focus on enterprise infrastructure, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualisation, storage, backup and cloud technologies.
Working as part of a collaborative technology team, you will help deliver secure, reliable and high-performing IT services while contributing to infrastructure improvements, modernisation projects and the ongoing adoption of Microsoft Azure technologies.

- Hybrid (2 days on-site) - Hours:37 per week Monday to Friday

What You'll Do
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Manage and maintain core infrastructure platforms including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Hyper‑V, storage and backup environments.
- Support system monitoring, patch management, vulnerability remediation and disaster recovery activities to ensure secure and resilient services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server and application issues, providing technical expertise across the organisation.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the migration of services and workloads to Microsoft Azure.
- Work closely with colleagues across Technology Operations, Security, Development and Project teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders across the business.

What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience in an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator or IT Operations role.
- Good understanding of:
- Active Directory and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
- Virtualisation technologies, particularly Hyper‑V
- Storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Power Shell scripting and automation
- IT Service Management processes
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience of one or more of the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Azure administration and cloud services
- Infrastructure modernisation or cloud migration projects
- SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
- SCVMM
- HPE server and storage platforms
- Networking technologies (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
