Please note: internally, this position is known as a Locality Manager.

About the Role
As Deputy Service Manager, you ll play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and success of your services. You ll support the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding care and support, develop high-performing teams, maintain excellent quality standards, and drive positive outcomes for the people we support.
You ll be someone who leads by example, inspires confidence, and brings energy, compassion and accountability to everything you do.
What You ll Do
- Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centred support
- Promote a positive culture where our values are lived every day
- Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance development
- Ensure people we support are empowered to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners and community partners
- Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, compliance and governance
- Support financial performance, budgets, occupancy and resource management
- Manage incidents, complaints and service improvements effectively
- Ensure safe, effective and compassionate support is delivered consistently
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide hands-on leadership when required
- Help drive continuous improvement and innovation across services
