Role Overview

We are currently seeking skilled Pipe Benders to join our growing team. This role involves working with a variety of materials and thicknesses, using both manual and CNC-operated bending machines. You will be responsible for ensuring all components meet exacting aerospace standards through the use of fixtures, jigs, and precision measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate manual and CNC pipe bending machines.

* Work with a range of materials including aluminium, titanium, and stainless steel.

* Use jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

* Interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

* Essential:

* Proven experience in pipe bending, ideally within aerospace or precision engineering sectors although not essential.

* Proficiency in operating manual and CNC bending machines.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong understanding of measurement tools and quality control processes.

* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Desirable:

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering, Fabrication, or a related discipline.

* Previous experience working with aerospace-grade materials.

* Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.

* Basic computer literacy for machine interface and documentation.
