Upholstery Sewing Machinist & Upholsterer

Location: Salisbury
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday

We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Sewing Machinist & Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team in Salisbury. This is a full-time, permanent position, working a four-day week, giving you every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

The successful candidate will be involved in the sewing and upholstery of high-quality chairs, ensuring each product is finished to an excellent standard.

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce upholstery covers and components.
• Upholster chairs using a variety of fabrics, foams and materials.
• Assemble and fit upholstery to chair frames.
• Follow production specifications and work instructions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience as an Upholsterer, Upholstery Sewing Machinist, or in a similar role.
• Experience using industrial sewing machines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good practical and manual skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

• £16.00 per hour.

• Monday to Thursday working pattern.
