We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Events & Marketing Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in event management, marketing and communications within a professional membership organisation. You will help deliver high-quality events and campaigns that engage our members and promote NEPIC’s activities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and delivering NEPIC events, including conferences, networking sessions, and member engagement activities.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, and members to ensure smooth event coordination.
- Provide administrative support, including managing member databases and tracking event attendance.
- Support the creation and scheduling of content for NEPIC’s social media channels and email newsletters.
- Help maintain and update the NEPIC website with event listings, news, and member resources.
- Conduct research to identify industry trends and opportunities for member engagement.
- Assist in producing marketing materials and promotional campaigns for NEPIC initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with an interest in events and marketing.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with members and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools (desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Interest in events, marketing and the process industry sector.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
- A structured apprenticeship program with on‑the‑job training.
