At St John Ambulance, we are committed to embedding ourselves within our communities, delivering support tailored to their needs while providing a positive experience for our volunteers.

We seek leaders passionate about making a difference, caring about helping and developing others. You will lead and inspire a volunteer movement across a geographical area to deliver Community First Aid, Community Education, and Community Fundraising, as well as develop our offerings for young people. By leading a team of Volunteer Leaders, you will drive excellence, foster an inclusive and diverse volunteering environment, and help navigate change to build a bigger and better St John Ambulance.

As a member of our network leadership team, you’ll experience great satisfaction and pride supporting your team and volunteers in delivering essential services. It’s beneficial for you, your community, and our nation.

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction, necessary training for your role, and a supportive environment. Details about volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions, along with our volunteer charter outlining mutual expectations.

Volunteers are expected to attend both online and in-person training sessions and participate in regular weekly network meetings to keep skills current.

If successful, relevant training will be discussed post-appointment.
