Kitchen Assistant – Laverstock Care Centre, Salisbury

Salary: £12.21 per hour.

  • 80 Bedded Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care Home
  • Full time and Part time available
  • Shifts include alternate weekends

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and well‑organised.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Support the chef in cooking and baking tasks when required.
  • Wash all the dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Sweep and mop floors and take out the rubbish regularly.
Ideal Candidate
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Someone with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is a plus, but not essential as we provide full training.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
