Internal Sales Executive

A local, well-established company that sells construction based products is looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to generate sales and reignite contact with lapsed clients.

• Identify opportunities, produce leads, and book appointments for the sales force, focusing on high‑quality leads (cold & warm).
• Professionally answer the telephone, taking and screening incoming calls as required.
• Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors.
• Proactively follow up on leads generated from calling.
• Use initiative to identify and pursue opportunities with companies not already in the database.
• Maintain the database accurately to enable targeted marketing activity and generate new business.
• Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives.

• 1–2 years of experience as a telesales representative.
• Excellent telephone manner and enjoyment of using the phone.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cool‑tempered and capable of handling rejection.
• Knowledge of relevant computer programs, e.g., CRM software.
• Ability to learn about products and services and describe them to prospects.
• Phone‑based sales/telesales experience is essential.
• Knowledge of the construction industry is a benefit; experience in telecoms is also suitable.
• Driving licence and own transport are essential due to location.

£26 000 basic (£35 000 OTE, uncapped commission)

8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mon‑Fri

On‑site parking, pension scheme, fully office‑based role.
