Car Sales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly motivated and professional New/Used Car Sales Executive to join a brand new franchise-approved dealership in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced car sales professional seeking to work with one of the UK’s most popular automotive brands. The New/Used Car Sales Executive will be responsible for selling a diverse range of vehicles, from electric SUVs to petrol city cars, alongside accessories, finance packages, and insurance products.

The role requires exceptional customer service, accurate communication of delivery updates, and the ability to build strong customer relationships to maximise sales performance.

Basic salary of £20,000 per annum with uncapped, performance-related commission, earning £50,000+ on target annually

Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm;
Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm;
Sundays 10:00am-4:00pm, with 1 in 3 Sundays off Duties of the Car Sales Executive:

Selling new and used vehicles across a wide range of models
Advising customers on vehicle features, warranties, and after-sales services
Demonstrating vehicle features and explaining warranty and service arrangements
Managing customer relationships from initial contact through delivery and after-sales support
Achieving and exceeding sales targets by selling add-ons, accessories, and finance products
Keeping customers informed regarding vehicle delivery and resolving queries in a professional manner
Collecting payments and ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction throughout the process
Supporting the Service Department with customer introductions and after-sales support

Requirements of the Car Sales Executive:

Current or recent experience in car sales is essential
Experience in new car sales is advantageous but not mandatory
UK driving licence with minimal points
Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Salisbury
A results-driven attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to succeed
