Car Sales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly motivated and professional New/Used Car Sales Executive for their prestigious dealership in Salisbury.

This role offers a competitive basic salary of £20,000, with uncapped, performance-related commission opportunities that can lead to on-target earnings of over £51,000 annually.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a renowned franchise representing one of the UK's most popular premium car brands. The successful Car Sales Executive will be responsible for selling a diverse range of vehicles, from high-performance sports models to award-winning electric and hybrid vehicles, along with associated accessories, finance options, and insurance products.

Working closely with the sales team and support staff, the New/Used Car Sales Executive will focus on delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. Duties include informing customers about vehicle delivery timelines, resolving any queries promptly, demonstrating vehicle features, explaining warranties and after-sales services, and guiding customers to the Service Department. The role also involves collecting payments and ensuring a seamless buying experience.

Car Sales Executives must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Salisbury, hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points, and possess recent or current car sales experience. Experience in new or premium vehicle sales is advantageous but not essential. The ideal Car Sales Executive will have a results-driven mindset, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties:

Selling new and used vehicles, including high-performance and electric models
Reaching and exceeding sales targets through demonstrating excellent product knowledge
Introducing customers to finance, insurance, and accessory options
Keeping customers informed about delivery schedules and potential delays
Resolving customer queries promptly and professionally
Collecting payments and explaining warranty and after-sales arrangements
Supporting customers through the entire sales process, including vehicle demonstrations

Requirements:

Proven experience in car sales, with recent or current involvement being mandatory
Experience in premium or new car sales beneficial but not essential
UK driving licence with minimal points
Reside within a reasonable distance of Salisbury
Strong desire to succeed, excellent relationship-building skills, and a professional attitude
