Cyber Security Researcher

Core Tech Security, a leading UK cyber security firm, is looking for talented researchers, vulnerability analysts, and software engineers with a STEM background. This role is research‑focused and requires expertise in programming, operating system internals, embedded systems, network packet analysis, and a passion for solving challenging problems and delivering world‑class research with real‑world impact.

• Reverse engineering in IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Familiarity with Wireshark or other network packet analysis tooling.
• Ethical hacking experience.
• Network and protocol analysis.
• Hardware debugging (UART, JTAG, SWD).
• Knowledge of exploitation techniques and mitigations.
• Experience with operating system internals for Linux, Windows and embedded systems.
• Experience with Android or iOS internals.
• Familiarity with C, C++ or Python.
• RF technologies and Software Defined Radio.
• Inquisitive nature and strong problem‑solving skills.

This role is suitable for individuals with significant commercial experience, aiming at lead and senior grade positions.
