Location: Salisbury - Porton Down (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 12 months

Client is looking for an experienced Built Asset Security Advisor / Security Engineer / Project Security Advisor to support the delivery of security engineering across high-security government facilities. The role focuses on ensuring protective security is designed into complex infrastructure projects, including secure laboratories and other sensitive environments.

Key Experience Required

Extensive experience in security engineering, protective security or built asset security within the built environment.
Experience working on high-security, regulated or critical infrastructure facilities.
Strong knowledge of physical, technical and operational security principles.
Experience conducting security risk assessments, threat and vulnerability assessments, and security assurance.
Ability to develop and review security strategies, technical specifications and assurance documentation.
Experience working alongside architects, engineers and project teams to embed security throughout the project lifecycle.
Knowledge of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), perimeter security and protective security measures.
Understanding of Schedule 5 of the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, ISO 19650-5, ISO 23234, and the NPSA Surreptitious Threat Mitigation Process.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex security requirements.
