Senior Firmware Engineer

£50,000 - £60,000 + Holiday + Pension — Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a company that offers great progression channels and is a market leader established over 50 years.

This company is an industry leader offering a variety of electronic tools for precise measurement and data recording. They create custom electronics for unique needs and are known for user-friendly tools, making them a go-to business for environmental monitoring. Their range of electronic products is supplied to many sectors, giving them a global reach.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for developing firmware applications primarily in C/C++, undertaking schematic designs and verification, and working with clients to specify and deliver custom projects. Additionally, you will contribute to company-wide improvement of software applications for existing products and ensure all products are designed and documented in accordance with the company quality system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded C firmware development and analog interface design. Experience with communication technologies such as RS232, I2C, etc. is a key skill. You should also be proficient in using IDE tools, in-circuit debuggers, emulators, and laboratory equipment for hardware debugging.

• Proven track record in Embedded C Firmware Development
• RTOS experience (preferably Zephyr)
• Knowledge of Communication Protocols (RS232, I2C, etc.)
