Child Welfare Specialist III - FCM Facilitator- OKDHS

This position is located in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. It is open to current OKDHS employees only.

Shift‑diff pay is paid after standard hours. Applicants who possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. On‑call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities. Travel is occasional; a valid driver's license and required car insurance are required.

• OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
• OR two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.

• Position serves as a Family Meeting Continuum (FMC) Facilitator in a specialized unit within Region 4.
• Conducts Child Safety Meetings (CSM) to guide the decision‑making process for determining the child’s safety needs and the best intervention strategy during the Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation process.
• Plans, facilitates, and documents family meetings throughout the life of the case to provide families with a consistent moderator of family information and case dynamics.
• Acts as an accountability partner for meeting compliance, timeliness, and quality.

Preference may be given to a candidate with at least one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
