Feed Mill Operator – Aviagen

We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as Feed Mill Technician in Feed Mill. This position will be responsible for the operation of all processing equipment utilized in the production of feed.

• Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, and pelleting
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Complete FDA and production reports
• Maintain bio‑security protocol at all times
• Obtain daily inventories
• Maintain ISO sampling procedures
• Engage in preventative maintenance
• Engage in weekly plant fumigation
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of business English and arithmetic
• Computer literate; experience in keyboard operation, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to maintain records and generate reports that require extreme accuracy
• Ability to operate forklift
