Join Student Support Services as a School Psychologist full-time, effective September 1, 2026, where you'll enhance student learning and mental health through targeted interventions. Engage collaboratively with educators and staff.
Ideal candidates will possess a Master's Degree in School Psychology and be certified with CHCPBC. This position emphasizes developing prevention programs, conducting assessments, and supporting students facing academic and mental health challenges. Experience in BC's public sector is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate Tier 1, 2, and 3 prevention programs
• Conduct assessments and create actionable plans
• Work with school teams to implement interventions
• Provide guidance on the referral process
• Attend case management and district meetings
Requirements:
• Master’s degree and CHCPBC certification
• Proven assessment and report writing skills
• Solid understanding of Special Education requirements
• Flexibility in accepting duties as assigned
• Valid BC driver's license
