Position: Career Life Education Teacher Position
Become a Career Life Education 10 Teacher at Salmon Arm Secondary. This temporary assignment begins immediately and runs until June 30, 2027, focusing on guiding students through their career-life pathways.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Arts or Education degree and a valid BC teaching certificate. This role suits someone with a demonstrated background in secondary education and a strong grasp of the B.C. Career-Life Education curriculum.

Your role will involve helping students explore diverse career trajectories while fostering essential skills for life beyond school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Career Life Education and related planning

• Assist students in developing meaningful life plans

• Collaborate with parents to support student progress

• Use My Blueprint and MYED BC systems for planning

• Create an engaging and cooperative classroom

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Education degree or equivalent

• Valid teaching certification in British Columbia

• Experienced in secondary teaching methods

• Expertise in career-life education curriculum

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
