This term position is under the direction of the Manager, Community Services. The Coordinator will focus on park construction, maintenance of existing parks, and supervision of contracts. Responsibilities include monitoring projects, managing budgets, coordinating public consultations, and liaising with various government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee parks and trails development and operations
• Manage contract supervision and maintenance activities
• Implement operational priorities and budget plans
• Facilitate public consultations for community input
• Coordinate with federal and provincial agencies for approvals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
• Minimum two years of project management experience
• Certifications in wildlife assessment and playground inspection
• Valid Class 3 BC Driver’s License
• Crane Safe Level A certification
