Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide

We are seeking a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC.

Days of work:
Rotating, Days, Monday to Friday

Shift times: 07:00 to 15:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:30 to 16:30

• You will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
• You will restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas.
• You will support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.
