Position: Part Time Registered Nurse at AgeCare
Become a critical part of resident care as a Part Time Registered Nurse at Age Care Mount Ida Mews in Salmon Arm, BC. This position focuses on promoting safety and quality nursing services within a collaborative team environment.

In this temporary part-time role, you will coordinate nursing services, lead team communications, and ensure accurate documentation of resident conditions. Your expertise in geriatric care will guide you in processing physician orders and addressing any challenges with the Director of Care. Every interaction supports the Age Care mission to foster dignity and respect for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resident care and nursing services with the healthcare team

• Lead shift reports to inform team about residents’ conditions

• Document significant changes in residents’ health accurately

• Process physician orders promptly and communicate difficulties

• Promote a culture of safety and respect among residents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

• Registration with provincial nursing registry in good standing

• Knowledge of health regulations and standards

• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
