Youth Worker Case Manager

Impact the lives of youth in Salmon Arm, BC as a Case Manager with BGC Okanagan’s Youth Outreach Program. Support programs designed to build resilience, relationships, and independence for at-risk youth.

As a Case Manager, you will engage with youth, families, and the Ministry of Children and Family Development to develop tailored intervention plans. Your focus on evidence-based strategies will guide young individuals on their growth journeys, from skill acquisition to community resource connections. You’ll be a key player in their pursuit of independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze youths’ behaviors and needs through observation

• Create and implement effective intervention programs

• Lead individual and group sessions using active listening

• Enhance youth skills in communication and self-management

• Maintain detailed records and evaluate program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Diploma in human or social services

• Class 5 driver's license and clear driver’s abstract

• First Aid Certificate

• Successful background check by the agency

• Flexibility in scheduling work hours
