Now, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Treasury department and help drive operational excellence.

Why Join Us?- Pay: $18 - $24 an hour. This position starts at $18 an hour and also offers an additional monthly bonus of $450. This role may also require 3-5 hours a week of overtime at $27 an hour, for over 40 hours a week. On target earnings should be $46,000 - $50,000 annually.

As the Accounts Payable Specialist
, you’ll be responsible for:
- Processing hourly wire drops, real-time payments, Canadian wires, and ACH payments daily.
- Assisting with check runs and updating banking information with proper verification.
- Handling off-cycle payment requests and ensuring all invoice information is accurate prior to processing.
- Corresponding with US Bank via phone and email as necessary.
- Providing phone support, auditing vendors for 1099 compliance, and managing Comchecks and advances.
- Maintaining the treasury inbox and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Supporting weekly check runs and any other tasks assigned by leadership.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy rate in reviewing and verifying payment information to prevent fraudulent activity.
- Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills and a positive, business-owner mentality.
- Problem Solving: Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies and identify common errors or patterns.
- Team Commitment: Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and respect for self and others.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn multiple systems (McLeod, Mercury Gate, Cadence) quickly.
- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to personal accountability, growth, and operational efficiency.
- Payment Processing: Familiarity with treasury operations and payment processing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and standard operating procedures.
