This position is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
General SummaryUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for all accounts payable processing, data entry, and familiarity with mail processing & scanning.
Essential Job Accountabilities- Provide excellent customer service in a timely, professional manner to promote a positive interaction with internal and external customers.
- Open and sort incoming mail to ensure AP documents are processed timely by each member of the AP group.
- Perform prompt and accurate data entry of all invoices into the AP automation system for electronic routing.
- Ensure accurate manual AP entries in the company’s accounting system.
- Maintain the month‑end close cycle for accounts payable to meet all periodic accounting deadlines.
- Conduct online inquiries in the A/P system to access general information for vendors and field representatives.
- Assist with internal/external audits and self‑audits, ensuring compliance with company policy and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
- High School Diploma
- 0‑2 years of work experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player

- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently
- 10‑key by touch typing

Additionally, Granite provides a 100% match on the first 6% of eligible compensation that salaried employees defer into their 401(k) plans, which vests immediately. Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.
$36,827.00 – $55,240.00 (pay may vary based on experience, skills, location, and education).
