Bookkeeper Contract Assignment

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals accurately and timely.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Manage invoicing, billing, and payment collection activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Process cash applications and ensure proper allocation of incoming payments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collection efforts.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain vendor and customer account information.
• Prepare financial reports and provide accounting support to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with payroll processing and related recordkeeping, as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
