Description
JOB SUMMARYProvides administrative and clerical support functions for Rail Operations. Serves as initial point-of-contact to the service unit. Supports and assists with coordinating various programs and special projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/TRAINING:High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Business or Communications preferred.
EXPERIENCE:- Two years in an office setting providing administrative or clerical support to include experience in office coordination between service units, departments and/or divisions.
- Event planning and/or meeting coordination minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Must have a valid Utah Driver's License, with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
Knowledge/
Skills:
- Computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite/365)
- Basic knowledge of utilization of copiers, fax machines, email, e-communications (social media platforms), and other office tools (laminators, label makers, filing systems, and so on)
- Basic payroll systems including payroll auditing, verification, and processing
- Human resources information systems
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and operations at the intermediate level in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Design communication posters and informationals preferred.
- Pass basic Grammar test.
- Type 40 net words per minute.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service.
- Perform basic data analysis, trending and tracking data.
- Organized.
