Job Summary
The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah is seeking a full‑time Administrative Program Coordinator to join the academic support team. This dynamic role is ideal for a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced academic setting and contributes to a collaborative environment with a positive, professional attitude.
Responsibilities- Manage all teaching/research assistant processes: searches, hiring, onboarding/off‑boarding, timecard approvals and corrections, proctor requests, and email correspondence.
- Data analysis and reporting related to teaching assistant management.
- Assist with faculty hiring and review processes.
- Assist with class scheduling and curriculum changes.
- Process reimbursements and purchase requests for faculty.
- Provide guidance to faculty regarding school and university policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency plus one year of directly related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
- Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate processes to improve systematization and efficiencies.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Planner, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
