Job Description
This position provides executive‑level administrative support to Intermountain Health’s Chief Nursing Executive and President of Children’s Health. The role is highly visible, interacting with internal leaders and members of the community on behalf of the executive.
Responsibilities- Proactively anticipate and support a variety of administrative functions for the executive and leaders on her team.
- Manage executive calendars, travel and expense, board and meeting logistics, correspondence and task management.
- Compose correspondence, prepare reports, and determine appropriate recipients for incoming requests.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate special projects and system‑level initiatives.
- Provide advanced technical support, including remote meeting management, facilitation of presentations and multimedia needs.
- Demonstrated experience supporting C‑level executives, managing calendars, correspondence, travel/expenses and meeting support.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Sound judgement and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external senior‑level leaders.
- Proficiency in time management, prioritization and professional handling of conflicting priorities.
- Efficiency in project coordination and tracking actions/outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with events coordination and planning.
- Experience in a matrixed healthcare setting.
- Leadership experience providing training and coordinating projects or supervising others.
- Need to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors and assess customer needs.
- Frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, patients and visitors.
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment, typing and computer use.
- For roles that require driving, ability to operate a vehicle safely.
Location: Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital, Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, hybrid role with 50–75% in‑person attendance, with possible work sites at Key Bank Building or Primary Children’s Hospital.
Compensation: $33.51 – $51.73 per hour, based on experience.
