About the Role
As Materials Procurement Coordinator, you will manage all incoming and outgoing material and inventory, including pipes, shoring plates, PPE, sand, dirt, concrete, water, and related supplies. You will track items across multiple locations and warehouses, procure new inventory, and establish practices to monitor usage.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing cost‑effective, sound purchasing strategies for materials, goods, and tooling.
- Monitor spending and identify opportunities to improve product quality and delivery timeliness.
- Communicate regularly with management about goods flow and production impact.
- Support the purchasing team, delegating tasks to other departments as needed.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate with other departments to close operational gaps.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and complete documentation.
- Support customer expectations and enforce OSHA standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform additional duties as requested by leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience.
- OSHA 10 preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines under stressful conditions.
- Knowledge of inventory tracking, procurement, and distribution processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to plan and schedule activities over the long term and maintain confidentiality.

Work Environment

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
