Summary:

Manages the full purchasing process from order creation to delivery, ensuring timelines meet organizational needs and vendor agreements. Maintains accurate procurement records, monitors supplier performance, supports vendor onboarding/offboarding, and ensures compliance with Certificates of Insurance requirements. Assists in tracking procurement metrics, resolving supplier issues, and contributing to process improvement initiatives under the guidance of Procurement Managers.

• Manage end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring product delivery timelines are aligned with organizational needs
• Create and process purchase orders in alignment with approved vendor agreements and business requirements
• Monitor and track order status, delivery timelines, and confirmations; proactively communicate updates to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor information, purchase orders, savings, and supporting documentation
• Support Procurement Managers in vendor onboarding and offboarding, including collecting documentation and updating procurement systems
• Maintain current Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for vendors and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Assist in compiling reports and tracking procurement metrics to support departmental objectives
• Coordinate with Procurement Managers to support supplier performance tracking and issue resolution
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and service levels
• Develop procurement knowledge by participating in training and working under the guidance of Procurement Managers

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred

• 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, supply chain, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Experience with procurement systems or workflow/project management tools (e.g., ) preferred

• Communicates clearly and respectfully with peers and leaders. Adjusts messaging based on audience and listens actively to ensure shared understanding.
• Takes initiative to meet individual goals and deadlines. Stays focused on priorities and follows through to completion with minimal prompting.

Pay Range: $55K - $65K/yearly

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
