** Position Overview
** We are seeking a highly skilled
** Construction Estimator
** to support our pre-construction and project teams. The estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for multi-family residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, a deep understanding of construction methods and materials, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Review drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
* Develop quantity take-offs and pricing for all divisions of work.
* Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
* Prepare detailed bid packages and proposals in line with project requirements.
* Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, market trends, and construction techniques.
* Assist in value engineering, budgeting, and pre-construction planning.
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum 5+ years of construction estimating experience, with a focus on
** multi-family and commercial projects**.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
* Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage, Pro Est, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
* Proven track record of preparing accurate estimates and successfully supporting awarded projects.
