Field Safety Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Safety Technician to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety across our job sites. This role is heavily field-based, requiring a hands‑on approach to hazard identification, safety compliance, and team engagement. The ideal candidate is bilingual, well‑versed in OSHA 10, 30, or 500 standards, and passionate about creating a culture of safety.

• Maintain a strong field presence (90–95% of time) across active job sites.
• Identify and correct safety hazards in real time.
• Conduct daily safety audits and upload documentation to the WT Program.
• Lead and facilitate safety meetings and orientations for new hires and subcontractors.
• Review and verify Daily Pre‑Task Plans (PTPs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Respond to incidents and accidents, gather information, and support investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926 standards, including:
  Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Excavation safety, Fall protection, Personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching and accountability.

• 1-5 years in field safety roles (construction or industrial environments preferred).
• Certifications: OSHA 10 & 30, First Aid/CPR (required). An OSHA 500 certification is a plus, but is not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.

$35/hr to $40/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
