A fast‑growing Utah heavy civil contractor is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead roadway, underground utility, and municipal infrastructure projects. This is a high‑impact leadership role for an experienced operations professional with strong UDOT and city/municipality expertise.

The VP of Operations will oversee all field operations, project managers, superintendents, and project performance across road reconstruction, utility relocation, and high‑traffic municipal work. This leader will streamline processes, strengthen client relationships, and help scale the company toward its next phase of growth.

• Lead roadway, civil, and municipal projects (UDOT + city).
• Oversee PMs, superintendents, scheduling, budgets, and cost control.
• Support estimating (Bid2
  
  Win) and review bids for accuracy/constructability.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance across all operations.
• Strengthen systems, processes, and team performance.
• Represent the company with clients, municipalities, and inspectors.
• Support long‑term strategy with a path toward President‑level leadership.

• 12+ years in heavy civil construction operations.
• Strong background in UDOT and municipal roadway work.
• Experience leading PMs, superintendents, and field teams.
• Expertise in road reconstruction, underground utilities, and urban, high‑traffic environments.
• Excellent communicator with strong client‑facing presence.
• Degree preferred, not required.

• $180,000–$230,000 DOE + Annual Executive Bonus
• 80% employer‑paid medical, dental, and vision for entire family
