POSITION SUMMARYThe graphic designer will have excellent technical computer skills and use their creativity to combine graphics, typography, photos, charts, infographics, and other visual graphic elements for production and distribution of publication-ready marketing materials and/or presentations. Must have knowledge of printing, pre-press, web, and social media processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Proven graphic design skills with great attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Intermediate knowledge, skills, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate experience creating images and graphics for print, web, and social media.
- Excellent ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, communicate well with others, and clarify details to ensure understanding of tasks.
- Strong organization, time management, follow through, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training in graphic and web design, layout, prepress, marketing, presentation, and production.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Mac, SharePoint, Canva, and Asana a plus.
- A portfolio of work experience is required either online or in person.
The position is a full-time, exempt position with full benefits. $50,. Salary commensurate with experience. UWSL/UP provides a wide range of benefits, including:
