About The CompanyUnrivaled Sports is building the nation’s most exciting, community-driven youth sports brand—and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes sports culture to join our team. This is not a “just post highlights” job. This is an editorial role with creative muscle: you’ll shape the voice of Unrivaled Sports across platforms, coordinate creator output, and craft an always-on strategy that helps millions of families feel connected to the magic and impact of youth sports.
PositionSummary Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of all Unrivaled Sports social channels (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook).
- Build and maintain platform-specific editorial calendars rooted in storytelling, community, and culture.
- Brief content concepts that ladder into brand priorities and bring our stories to life.
- Actively manage community engagement: reply to comments, amplify standout moments, and surface insights around what’s resonating.
- Work with brand partners to concept, pitch, and produce co-branded content that aligns with both Unrivaled Sports’ editorial voice and partner objectives.
- Set and monitor KPIs for reach, engagement, growth, and community sentiment.
- Manage a network of seasonal creators, interns, and on-the-ground content contributors at key tournaments and events.
- Coordinate content capture across dozens of locations—ensuring creators know what to shoot, how to shoot it, and what stories matter most.
- Create toolkits, prompts, content challenges, and recurring formats that drive consistent content from creators, tournaments, teams, and local communities.
- Provide recommendations, outreach, and content management for culturally relevant creators.
- Navigate a matrixed organization with ease—partnering across sports, venues, operations, and leadership teams.
- Provide expertise on social media across the Unrivaled Sports ecosystem.
- Build simple, scalable systems for content sourcing, approvals, asset tracking, and publishing.
- Uphold brand voice, values, and quality standards across all touchpoints.
- Deeply tapped into sports culture, tracking emerging voices, formats, memes, and conversations across pro, college, and youth sports—and understanding how to translate them into a youth sports-centered brand.
- Editorially minded, thinking in story arcs, formats, and repeatable content structures—not one-off posts.
- Culturally-minded operator who knows what great looks like—story arcs, pacing, music, caption voice, micro-moments—and can coach creators toward it.
- Collaborative, comfortable working across a matrixed org and translating inputs into actionable content.
