Overview
Pediatric Gastroenterologist/Transplant Hepatologist – Faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Clinical focus on transplant hepatology and liver disease with opportunities for academic research, education, and leadership.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and inpatient care for pediatric patients, emphasizing transplant hepatology and liver disease.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care teams, including transplant surgery, neurology, nephrology, and other subspecialties.
- Conduct endoscopic procedures, manage nutrition and feeding support, and engage in clinical outreach at satellite clinics.
- Lead or contribute to clinical trials, quality improvement projects, and translational research in liver disease.
- Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology.
- Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology, with at least one year of advanced training.
- Completion of a Pediatrics Residency and a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship.
- Strong commitment to patient care, academic scholarship, and service to diverse populations.
