As we continue to grow in the United States, we are looking for someone who can build a strong local presence, develop meaningful partnerships, and connect more American young adults with these opportunities.
About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement Specialist to expand our presence and student reach in the United States, beginning with a strong local focus in Utah. The role combines strategic partnerships, community engagement, university relations, outreach, events, public relations, and lead generation.
At its core, the objective is simple: find where the right young adults are, identify who can help us reach them, and create opportunities for them to discover Cumorah Academy.
Universities and colleges are important, but not the only channel. Future students may be studying, taking a gap year, working, exploring entrepreneurship, or looking for greater direction and purpose.
We do not expect you to walk in with all the answers. We expect you to help us find them. This is a highly hands-on role: you will initiate conversations, make calls, attend meetings, organize events, coordinate volunteers, represent Cumorah Academy, follow up, and measure results.
Primary Goals- Generate qualified prospective students for the Full Semester Program
- Generate qualified prospective students for Founders for Futures
- Expand brand awareness and presence in the United States
- Build strategic partnerships that create sustainable channels for growth
Market Development:
Explore the market to identify where our best prospective students can be found and who already has relationships with them. Research and test new channels rather than relying only on predetermined ones, including:
- Universities and colleges
- Gap-year communities and programs
- Young-adult organizations and networks
- Entrepreneurship communities
- Businesses, employers, and career-development organizations
- Internship and experiential-learning programs
- Leadership programs and alumni networks
- Events, conferences, student organizations, and nonprofits
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify, initiate, and maintain relationships that expand our reach, credibility, and access to prospective students. Partner with universities, businesses, educational organizations, entrepreneurship communities, professional associations, nonprofits, and other mission-aligned groups, creating genuine value for both sides. Partnerships may include student referrals, collaborative events and workshops, sponsor ships and speaking opportunities, career or leadership programming, and cross-promotion. Build active, measurable relationships, not just contact lists.
University & College Relations:
Develop relationships with career centers, entrepreneurship and business programs, leadership programs, internship and study-abroad offices, faculty, student-life teams, and student clubs. Pursue campus events, fairs, classroom presentations, club meetings, workshops, and information sessions, and build recurring opportunities rather than one-time activities.
Community Engagement & Outreach:
Build a meaningful presence in communities that influence or serve young adults. Attend networking events, gatherings, and conferences, and develop relationships with community leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and professionals who can introduce us to new audiences.
Events & Local Activations:
Own events from opportunity identification through execution and follow-up, including…
