- Nurse Anesthesia Program within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Westminster University in Salt Lake City invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. We seek innovative and diverse candidates with expertise in a variety of nursing curricula such as, but not limited to, advanced health assessment, health care and promotion of infants through adolescents, health care and promotion of adults, older adults, and young adults, ambulatory procedures and graduate nursing research and theory.

This position is an 11-month contract. The teaching load for this position is 32 load hours that includes fall, spring, and summer semesters. Teaching responsibilities include nurse anesthesia courses in the didactic setting and clinical student teaching/simulation.

• A master's degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program will be considered, however, a completed DNP-NA or PhD will be required within 24 months of appointment.
• We seek candidates with an excellent teaching record and ability to engage with students to enhance learning. Westminster University's commitment to diversity and global learning is revealed in its core values, mission and vision statements, and institutional priorities.
• At least two years' experience in academic and/or clinical teaching. Less experience may be considered.
• Current passport and willingness to travel internationally for medical missions with the students.

• Current immunizations
• Background check without incidents
• Membership in AANA;
  Active participation in the Association of Nurse Anesthetists State Board is highly recommended
• Active CRNA certification
• Three letters of reference
