Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical/electronic engineering and a broad range of design experience. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
PayBase pay range: $58.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Contract ONLY
Responsibilities- Provide electrical/electronic engineering expertise to ensure device designs are grounded in sound engineering principles
- Utilize modern engineering tools and technologies for schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
- Develop detailed design and interface specifications for collaboration with software engineering and other teams
- Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and components
- Support delivery and device R&D efforts
- Partner with manufacturing, contract developers, and quality teams to ensure robust design, testing, and design control deliverables
- Communicate design-related insights to internal senior management to support project integrity
- Author technical reports, work instructions, change control documentation, and development plans
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in medical devices or diagnostics is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Solid Works is helpful, though not mandatory
- Breadth of design experience across various domains
- Experience with FDA-regulated products and strict documentation practices
- Strong discipline in documenting work thoroughly and accurately
- Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (2–8 layers; moderate complexity)
- Knowledge of EMC testing and relevant standards
- Ability to design reliable, long-lasting electronic systems
- Experience with LTM (Linear Technology Module) design is required
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Minimal oversight required
- Strong ownership of projects from concept to completion
