Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical/electronic engineering and a broad range of design experience. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.

Pay

Base pay range: $58.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Contract ONLY

Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical/electronic engineering expertise to ensure device designs are grounded in sound engineering principles
  • Utilize modern engineering tools and technologies for schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
  • Develop detailed design and interface specifications for collaboration with software engineering and other teams
  • Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and components
  • Support delivery and device R&D efforts
  • Partner with manufacturing, contract developers, and quality teams to ensure robust design, testing, and design control deliverables
  • Communicate design-related insights to internal senior management to support project integrity
  • Author technical reports, work instructions, change control documentation, and development plans
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in medical devices or diagnostics is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with Solid Works is helpful, though not mandatory
  • Breadth of design experience across various domains
  • Experience with FDA-regulated products and strict documentation practices
  • Strong discipline in documenting work thoroughly and accurately
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (2–8 layers; moderate complexity)
  • Knowledge of EMC testing and relevant standards
  • Ability to design reliable, long-lasting electronic systems
  • Experience with LTM (Linear Technology Module) design is required
Work Style

  • Strong ownership of projects from concept to completion
