Glass Estimator

Estimator – Salt Lake City, UT

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is a growing company seeking an Estimator to support our Salt Lake City branch.

Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

• Review customer take‑offs and material quantities to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed quotes, submit to customers, and answer related inquiries.
• Analyze job specification sheets to help customers choose the proper product as specified by architects.
• Use material and other cost data to calculate accurate commercial quotes for requests.
• Log all quotes and estimates into Axapta order entry system or other log.
• Prepare submittal packages and closeout documents.
• Update estimates, schedules, reports, and documents based on revisions and changes to the project.
• Work closely with Sales Reps, customer service, and management to deliver accurate and reliable quotes.
• Follow up by phone with customers to obtain current feedback on quote and project information.
• Follow all established protocols to assure correct pricing and customer satisfaction.
• Provide product performance data as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred.
• Two years estimating/sales experience in architectural glass or related manufacturing environment.
• Excellent follow‑through and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Vendor and supply chain familiarity.
• Basic mathematical skills to work with measurements, fractions, and decimals.
• High organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to multi‑task under high‑stress situations.
• Ability to analyze project specifications and material requirements.
