Project Leader (Telecommunications)
Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader (Telecommunications) to join a well-established engineering and systems integration organization out of the Salt Lake City, UT area. The Project Leader will provide overall development, training & leadership to junior project leadership, Field-Superintendents & trades personnel as it relates to the strategic planning, implementation and ownership of project completion. This individual must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities- Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
- Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
- Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
- Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
- Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.
- 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems.
- Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
- Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office.
- No clearance required but ability to obtain.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline.
• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
* depending on experience*
