The Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) prepares transportation plans and programs as the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the majority of Utah's Wasatch Front. WFRC builds consensus and enhances quality of life by developing and implementing visions and plans for a well-functioning multi-modal transportation system, livable communities, a strong economy, and a healthy environment.

In an effort to further WFRC's mission, WFRC is seeking a full-time Transportation Planner. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to address the challenges of one of the fastest growing states in the country. • Work collaboratively with external stakeholders including public, private, and community sectors.
  • Coordinate/manage/participate as a point of contact and serve as a liaison between WFRC and outside agencies/user groups, acting as staff to technical committees and monitoring various local government projects.
  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to a wide variety of stakeholders, conveying complex transportation concepts and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a public-service attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.
