FIELD Service Engineer; Salt Lake , UT

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is strongly preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area. Position requires a good electronics & electro‑mechanical troubleshooting background.

No Relocation. Salt Lake City area only.

• Do you have at least 3 yrs of current or recent Field Service Experience?
• Do you have experience servicing electronics?
• Do you have experience servicing electro‑mechanical equipment?
• Can you do overnight travel?

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required. Bachelor's from a 4‑year college/university preferred.
• Good experience with electronics & electro‑mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus (but not required).
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19.

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provide basic on‑site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

• Base salary 68K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 5K - 10K annually, probably more).
