Project Leader; Cabling, Scheduling

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader (Telecommunications) to join our engineering and systems integration organization in Salt Lake City, UT. The Project Leader will provide overall development, training & leadership to junior project leadership, Field-Superintendents & trades personnel as it relates to the strategic planning, implementation and ownership of project completion. This individual must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.

• Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
• Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
• Coordinating and running a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
• Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.

• 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher‑Education, Information Transit Systems.
• Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
• Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office.
• No clearance required but ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline.

• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)
