Product Manager - Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)

As a Product Manager with the Ovivo|Alar Flotation (DAF) team, you will provide leadership, sales assistance, and training for all Industrial and Municipal Flotation products.

The role is based in our Salt Lake City or Mokena, IL office and will enjoy our hybrid working model. Expected domestic travel is 10‑30%.

As Product Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your product line, working within a cross‑functional team environment that includes Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing. Your responsibilities include:

• Support sales efforts through specification and plan reviews, customer presentations, product application and sizing, process start‑up, technical training, and troubleshooting.
• Use innovative thinking to solve client challenges with the support of the operations team.
• Define product improvements, standardizations, and recommend new product development.
• Review customer purchase orders to ensure alignment with proposals and Ovivo acceptable terms.
• Collaborate with the Contracts team during Terms and Conditions review/negotiations.
• Provide detailed equipment information to operations group and review submittals to confirm scope accuracy.
• Partner with Engineering and Project Management to resolve warranty or production issues.
• Provide training and training materials for the internal team and external clients.
• Establish systems and controls to improve margins and prevent margin erosion.
• Preserve and document the technical capabilities and know‑how of the group.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• BS. degree in one of the engineering disciplines is preferred.
• Overall experience in the water/wastewater industry; experience with flotation and DAF in industrial market is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build long‑term relationships with clients, local sales reps and team members.
• Basic mechanical aptitude required and ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical equations and to create solid solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving or innovative mindset and ability to work independently.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer‑friendly language.
